Shades of Ray

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted and I wanted to share a fantastic movie with everyone. It’s called “Shades of Ray”. I saw it at the Lone Star International Film Society’s screening and I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s about real life and as we all know, if you don’t laugh…. it’ll make you nuts!

Here’s the Amazon.com link for it and a youtube video for your enjoyment!

Last day of class….

Today is the last day of class for my Technology in Education students. If you haven’t looked at the student portfolios, take a look at them after today. Their final projects require much reflection and I’m really excited about what I’ve read so far.

The student skills ranged from good technology experience to NO technology experience. They’ve come a long way! I’m totally excited about their accomplishments over the semester. I believe most will continue their journey to better their technology skills and to integrate in their day-to-day lives.

WOW! What great strides these students have made!

Webspiration

If you haven’t seen or used it yet, Inspiration software has a new web-based tool called webspiration. You can find it here. It’s just a fun way to diagram ideas and break the monotony of the typical classroom. Here’s a quick little diagram I created: Teaching a new technology… Let me know what you think about the tool.
