The complete list of my career highlights can be found on my Resume page. Here’s the mini-scoop about me.
- I hold a BBA in Management Information Systems from The University of Houston.
- I hold a Masters in Secondary Education from The University of North Texas, with a minor in Technology Applications.
- Recently, I’ve completed my first 6 hours toward my PhD in Educational Computing at UNT.
I had a long career in Information Technology before moving on to education.
After having taught high school at the best high school in Texas, I decided to go back to my technology career full-time and keep teaching part-time.
Now I work at the best University in Texas, Texas Christian University, as the Web Services Manager in Advancement’s Development Information Services department. What a blast! Once again, I’m getting to do all of those wonderful web things that I used to teach and enjoy so much.
The best part of my career at TCU is that I get to continue one of my passions, teaching. On Monday evenings, I teach EDUC 50253, Technology Applications in Education. A fun part of this course is that I have only about 50% education majors. The remainder are students who wish to learn more about technology.
I am also the proud wife of a fantastic man, who happens to be the Dean of the College of Communication at TCU. I am a very lucky person. Please feel free to blog or email anytime!
