My conference is 5th period. I'm in room 152. I also have some time available during 2nd period, as there's another teacher in my class during that time. You can usually catch me in the 1st Floor Team Room during 2nd period. I'll be linking my students' wordpress sites to my pages so folks can follow their progress. I'm really excited about the portfolios they'll be creating. Your students' portfolios are going to be much more creative, however, and will be a blast to look through! Good luck. For now they will be doing evaluations of artwork and posting their critiques on my blog page. Once they start having some artwork completed, I'm going to have them put the images on their own spaces, and hopefully other students, faculty, and people around the world will find their art and comment on it. I am trying to think of a way to incorporate wikis into my class. I'm thinking I could use it in place of blackboard to post lessons, and get feedback on the lessons. Since blackboard can't grade the artwork for me I think it would work. Also I think the kids might enjoy having their own spaces to spice up. Any ideas?
